The Citizen Hub is a concept that was born in St Neots,
Cambridgeshire, and has been a resounding success, now
entering a new and exciting phase of roll out across the country.
We are looking to create a Citizen Hub SW London as part of
the Citizen Hub network, with a separate P & L, separate
governance, its own local context, but accessing all the good
bits and the learnings from the first hub.
Engage in the offer of training for all ages with the colleges
Engage with local charities and community groups to build connections locally
Find open positions for local employers and engage with free career advice
Give your time to our Citizen Gatherings and to local non-profits via your Hub
A perfect venue for a small gathering for personal and professional events
Unlike St Neots, a market town with strong employer networks but lower visibility of support services, South West London presents a different challenge - a dense urban environment with a complex employment landscape.
Key factors supporting the launch of a Citizen Hub in this area:
Launching in 2025, we’re targeting measurable outcomes to empower South West London:
Our journey begins with prep in February 2025, ramps up in May, and fully launches in September—aiming for 1,000+ participants by 2026.
Our phased launch builds momentum for Citizen Hub SW London:
Research needs, develop branding, and secure early stakeholder support.
Attract funders with mission and impact goals, targeting £135,000 by May.
Start workshops and job fairs, recruit volunteers, and build partnerships.
Hire key team members and finalize operations.
Host a launch event, share success stories, and expand outreach.
Ongoing engagement and evaluation will drive growth into 2026.
We would appreciate the support on our socials.
